Venue Forty Two is a family owned and operated venue located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Old Highway 42 just across the Petal bridge. Our 3500 square foot venue with both indoor and outdoor space is perfect for parties, receptions, rehearsal dinners, weddings, showers, corporate events, banquets and much more.

Lisa Gilliland, Owner

Lisa Gilliland is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in physical education. With over 15 years teaching in the Petal School District, her background in teaching shines through with her expertise in time management, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills. Growing up in Hattiesburg and teaching in Petal has also given her a love for her community. and she is so excited to serve her community in her role as owner of Venue Forty Two.

Shelby Kizer, Event Designer and Marketing Coordinator

Shelby Kizer is a graduate of William Carey University with a degree in Fine Art. With her background in art, her eye for design is evident in all she does---from helping with floral designs to ensuring everything is set up picture-perfect for your party. Shelby is also the face behind our social media.
